You may not need to start again. Foxden Web can assess compatible existing websites, move them to managed hosting and take care of their ongoing maintenance and support.
Every website receives a technical assessment first. WordPress websites will normally be the easiest to transfer. Custom and non-WordPress websites are considered individually, and support cannot be promised for every platform or technology.
Platform and hostingMigration requirements depend on how the current website is built and hosted.
Condition and licencesExisting faults or licence issues may need separate paid work.
Compatibility and scopeMigration and ongoing management are quoted separately after assessment.
Where WordPress is not the right fit, Foxden Web can assess a custom managed solution based on the technical and support requirements.
Let's discuss your business, requirements and budget first. For suitable projects, I may then prepare a temporary branded concept using a suitable starting design.
A separate preview link lets you explore the proposed direction without changing your current website, domain or hosting.
PREVIEW NOTE A preview is a temporary concept, not a finished website or standalone free design service. It may contain placeholder content; the written proposal confirms the full scope.

Hi, I’m Andre. I started Foxden Web because getting your business online shouldn’t feel like a second job.
Your customers need to know three simple things: what you do, how you can help and how to get in touch. A good website makes those things clear. Building one shouldn’t mean learning tech speak, juggling suppliers or facing a large upfront agency bill.
That’s why I bring website design, hosting and ongoing care together in one managed service. I build a website around your business, then look after the agreed updates and technical maintenance behind the scenes.
Whether you already have a website or are starting from scratch, I’ll first discuss your business and what you need. I’ll then share a private, working preview using your branding, so you can explore the proposed website before committing to a monthly plan.
I run Foxden Web independently from Market Harborough, drawing on more than 12 years of professional IT experience alongside practical website-building experience. You deal directly with me, from our first conversation through to launch and ongoing support.
My goal is to give you a website you’re proud to share, while leaving you free to focus on your business.
Every plan includes a professional website, reliable hosting and ongoing care. The difference is scope, content support and response targets.
A clear, credible online presence.
A complete site for an established business.
A more ambitious website built for growth.
All plans have a 12-month minimum term. The package price is fixed during that term, and monthly billing begins only when the agreed website goes live.
Foxden Web is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not currently added.
Basic includes one standard Foxden-managed mailbox with 5 GB storage; additional standard 5 GB mailboxes are £5 per month each. Standard and Pro include business mailboxes for your agreed requirements, with 5 GB per mailbox. We confirm the number and addresses before setup. Webmail, reasonable domain configuration and a simple device setup guide are included.
If a mailbox approaches its storage limit, additional storage can be arranged. Where an increase can be accommodated within the existing hosting allowance, no additional charge will apply. Larger storage requirements are quoted separately.
Premium services such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are quoted separately at the current supplier price. Email support does not include general device, Outlook, network or company IT support.
One ordinary new domain registration and its renewal are included while your Foxden managed package remains active. The domain is registered using your ownership details wherever practical and remains yours; Foxden Web may act as its administrative or technical manager.
Foxden Web manages standard websites on professional UK-based hosting infrastructure. SSL, routine hosting monitoring and provider backups support the service; backups reduce the risk of data loss but cannot guarantee recovery in every circumstance.
What is a core page? A core page is a main customer-facing page such as Home, About, Services, Gallery or Contact. Essential legal pages such as Privacy and Terms do not use your core-page allowance.
What does the launch scope mean? The page allowance describes the normal initial website build. Straightforward additional pages that reuse the existing design can often be handled through the ongoing managed service after review. A substantial new section, unique layout or major expansion may need a revised scope.
Response targets: each target is for the first response and assessment. It is not a guaranteed completion time.
Routine website updates are included as part of the managed service. We do not count every text or image edit as a separate charge. Requests are reviewed and scheduled reasonably according to the package and the work involved.
Routine updates cover changes within the existing website and agreed design. A major redesign, a substantial new section, high-volume or urgent daily work, ecommerce, membership features, bespoke functionality or a complex third-party integration may need a separate scope. Foxden Web will explain this before starting and no additional charge will be made without written agreement.
Larger work may be agreed as a one-off project or added to the monthly package where an ongoing service is more appropriate.
Basic: additional standard 5 GB mailboxes are £5 per month each. Standard and Pro: business mailboxes for your agreed requirements are included.
Connect suitable booking software to the website — individually quoted.
Any third-party subscription and ongoing management requirements are confirmed before work begins. This is not a bespoke booking platform.
Shopify, WooCommerce and other online-selling requirements are assessed individually.
Where suitable, you can manage products, prices and catalogue information through the ecommerce platform after setup. Platform subscriptions, premium software and payment-processing fees remain separate.
Websites can vary widely. Major redesigns, ecommerce builds, membership features and bespoke integrations are discussed and agreed individually. Foxden Web will always explain the scope and any cost before starting.
Any paid software, supplier licence or third-party service will be explained and approved in writing before purchase.
Customer reporting: Basic has no scheduled visitor reports. Standard and Pro reporting is included only where it is stated in your accepted proposal and suitable measurement and privacy arrangements have been agreed. Standard may include a quarterly activity summary with practical observations. Pro may include a monthly summary, agreed enquiry-action tracking and prioritised recommendations. Reports begin after configuration and the first full agreed reporting period; quieter sites may need a longer interval. Recommendations do not guarantee visitors, enquiries or sales. Included changes remain within your plan; larger work is quoted first. Foxden Web’s own marketing website uses no visitor analytics or advertising tracking. Each customer site receives a separate tool-specific privacy assessment, including appropriate consent or objection controls where required.
Choosing a package starts an enquiry only. An enquiry, conversation or preview does not place an order, start a subscription or create a payment obligation. You receive a written proposal to accept before the contract begins. Payments use a secure Stripe-hosted process, never the enquiry form.
For businesses, sole traders, charities and people buying mainly for professional or commercial activity, with authority to enter the agreement. Ordinary personal or consumer websites are outside the standard service.
The initial build cost is spread across 12 monthly payments, with managed hosting and ongoing care included. After the initial term, the service continues as a rolling monthly agreement.
After the initial term, 30 days' written notice applies. Foxden Web will give at least 60 days' written notice of a package-price change, and you may cancel before the new price applies. The written proposal and service agreement will state the total minimum commitment before acceptance.
Monthly billing begins only when the agreed website goes live. The initial 12-month term begins on that date.
Foxden Web normally makes no cancellation charge for reusable planning, template work or exploration. You remain responsible for approved non-refundable third-party costs and any substantial customer-specific work that the proposal identified and you accepted in writing before it began.
Foxden Web will send reasonable reminders. A project may be paused after 14 days without the required response and closed after 60 days. Closing an inactive reusable project does not normally create a cancellation charge.
If you leave during the initial term, a declining balance may recover part of the setup work. The maximum setup-recovery balance starts at £240 for Basic, £480 for Standard or £900 for Pro. It reduces by £20, £40 or £75 respectively after each paid monthly payment and reaches £0 after month 12. Foxden Web will not also demand every remaining subscription payment solely because you leave early.
Package prices and launch scope are shown above. Your accepted proposal will confirm your minimum commitment, approved add-ons, third-party costs and any quoted handover or migration work.
An outdated site can quietly cost trust and enquiries. Foxden Web can turn an old, awkward website into something clear, quick and easy for local customers to use.

These examples demonstrate possible design directions and are not presented as commissioned customer websites.
You do not need a technical brief. Tell me about the business in your own words and I will guide the rest.
Tell Foxden Web what you need. Andre discusses the requirements and package preference and may prepare a private preview. An enquiry, conversation or preview is not an order or binding commitment.
Foxden Web sends a written proposal or service summary. If you accept it in writing, the agreed recurring payment arrangement is then established through a secure Stripe-hosted process. You also supply the agreed business information, any existing content, access and decisions.
The website is completed for your review and nothing launches without your approval. Monthly billing and the initial term begin only on the agreed go-live date.
The standard preview process includes one agreed design direction and up to two reasonable rounds of feedback. Larger changes, additional directions or new requirements may affect the launch date or require a revised quote.
Don’t have everything ready? Bring your business facts, notes and any existing content. I'll explain your plan's content support and agree any additional work before starting.
A standard website can often be prepared within around 7 working days after all required content, access details and decisions have been received.
This is a target, not a guaranteed deadline. Delayed content, access or approval moves the target date. Migrations and complex projects need a separate timeline. See the Service Terms for project pauses and restarting.
Your domain, content and business data remain yours. An agreed handover can provide a customer-specific website export or transfer where technically available.
During the initial term, outstanding invoices, the declining setup-recovery balance and quoted technical handover work may apply. After 12 paid months, the setup-recovery balance is £0. There is no additional website purchase price for an ordinary transfer; migration or reconstruction work is quoted separately.
You receive the rights needed to use your managed website and, after an agreed handover, operate its transferable customer-specific parts. Exclusive ownership of Foxden's reusable framework is a separate, individually quoted buyout. Third-party licences may need replacement.
Basic mailbox export assistance is included when you leave. Full mailbox migration, a complex website migration, reconstruction on another platform or work required by the receiving provider is quoted separately.
New managed websites will normally use WordPress, a widely used and well-supported website platform. I manage the technical side; suitable access to edit agreed content is available on request. Pro customers may request limited advanced hosting access to their own website environment where suitable and secure, never reseller administration or another customer's account. Read the access and handover terms.
Stay because the service works—
not because your domain is being held.
WE BUILD & MANAGE ITDesign, hosting, maintenance and support together
●MANAGED EXITMove your domain and ask a new supplier to create a replacement website.
WEBSITE TRANSFERReceive a transferable copy of your customer-specific website. Any additional migration work is agreed separately.
A normally supported 30-day offboarding window, subject to your proposal and agreed dates, helps coordinate the move with your new supplier.
Confirm the final service dateAfter the initial term, the rolling plan can end with 30 days' written notice.
Agree the handover scopeConfirm website exports, mailbox arrangements, outstanding amounts and third-party subscriptions.
Produce and confirm exportsAgreed website and basic mailbox exports are prepared, and you confirm receipt.
Coordinate the moveDomain, DNS or technical management changes are completed on the agreed dates.
Close the managed serviceThe active hosting account is removed after appropriate confirmation, while ordinary provider backups expire through the provider's normal cycle.
Your business identity and content will not be reused after the service ends. Provider backups expire through their ordinary cycle; necessary business records may be retained. See the Service Terms and Privacy Notice for the detail.
I support your managed website, hosting and domain configuration. First-response targets are three working days for Basic, two for Standard and one for Pro—not guaranteed resolution times.
Routine support is Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays, not a 24/7 helpdesk. Urgent security and availability problems are prioritised reasonably. Temporary founder unavailability may occasionally occur.
General device, office-network and unrelated IT support are outside the service. Send questions, support requests or complaints to hello@foxdenweb.co.uk.
The monthly price brings the agreed website design and build, managed hosting, SSL, backups, routine security care, maintenance and plan-based support together as one service. The initial 12-month term allows the design and launch cost to be spread across manageable monthly payments. Your package price is fixed during that term. After it, the service continues monthly with 30 days’ written notice. Foxden Web is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not currently added.
No. An enquiry, conversation or preview does not place an order, start a subscription or create a payment obligation. Foxden Web will discuss your requirements and send a written proposal or service summary. A contract begins only after you accept it in writing. Payment arrangements are then established through a secure Stripe-hosted process. Debit and credit cards can be accepted, monthly services use an agreed recurring payment arrangement, and add-ons or separately quoted work can be invoiced separately. Foxden Web does not ask you to send card details through the enquiry form, email, proposal or PDF.
The preview is supplied on a separate temporary address, so it does not affect your current website, domain, hosting or search visibility. It shows the agreed design direction and may contain placeholder content. The full scope, final content, revisions and launch arrangements are completed after you accept the proposal.
A core page is a main customer-facing page such as Home, About, Services, Gallery or Contact. Privacy and Terms pages do not use the launch-page allowance. Routine text, image and existing-content changes are included within the managed service and are not counted individually. Straightforward pages that reuse the existing design can often be handled through the monthly service after review. Major redesigns, substantial new sections or new functionality may need a separate agreed scope.
You provide the facts, any existing text or notes, and images you want to use. I review and lightly edit your wording, and can help shape an initial draft from your notes where needed. You check and approve the final text. Extensive new copywriting or image creation is discussed and agreed separately before work begins.
You can give notice at any time. During the initial term, an early exit may require the applicable declining setup-recovery balance because Foxden supplied the initial website without a normal standalone build fee. The maximum starts at £240 for Basic, £480 for Standard or £900 for Pro and falls after each paid monthly payment until it reaches £0 after month 12. Foxden will not also demand every remaining subscription payment solely because you leave early. After the initial term, the service can be ended with 30 days’ written notice.
Your domain, branding, supplied content, customer and mailbox data and existing intellectual property remain yours. An ordinary handover can include a reasonable customer-specific website export or transfer where technically available. During the initial term, outstanding invoices, the applicable declining setup-recovery balance and quoted technical handover work may apply. After month 12, the setup-recovery balance is £0 and the transferable customer-specific website is not subject to another arbitrary purchase price. Foxden retains reusable templates, components, tools and methods. Exclusive ownership of that reusable framework is a separate, individually quoted intellectual-property buyout.
One ordinary new domain registration and renewal are included while your managed package remains active, and the domain remains yours. If a mailbox approaches its limit, additional storage can be arranged without charge where it fits within the existing hosting allowance; larger requirements are quoted separately. Premium email platforms, plugins and other third-party subscriptions are charged separately and approved before purchase.
You may not need to rebuild from scratch. Every incoming website receives a technical assessment. WordPress websites will normally be easier to transfer, while custom and non-WordPress websites are assessed individually. Existing faults, unsupported technology or licence problems may require separately quoted work, and Foxden Web cannot promise to support every platform. Migration and ongoing management are quoted after assessment. Where WordPress is not suitable, a custom managed solution can be considered based on the scope and support requirements.
Support covers the website, hosting, domain configuration, maintenance, security care and agreed website changes included in your package. First-response targets are one, two or three working days depending on the package; they are not guaranteed resolution times. Routine support is normally Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays. It is not a 24/7 helpdesk and does not cover devices, office networks or general IT support. Questions, support requests and complaints use hello@foxdenweb.co.uk.
Tell me about your business or share your current website. I'll help you work out what would be most useful and explain the options clearly.
